Alaa Hassan is an Egyptian screenwriter. He studied at the faculty of law, where he also acted in and directed stage plays. In 2009 he debuted as a screenwriter in television, then went on write the film "Tom and Jimmy" in 2013, and the television series "Shams" in 2014.
