American actor born on 7 August 1960 in New York. He's best known as FBI agent Fox Mulder in the sci-fi series The X-Files (1993-2018) for which he received numerous nominations and won a Golden Globe in 1997. He reprised his role in two other films in 1998 and 2008. His other acting credits include: Californication (2007-2014), Evolution (2001), and House of D (2004) which he also wrote and directed.


David Duchovny is an American actor and filmmaker who was born on the 7th of August, 1960 in New York, New York. Duchovny studied at Princeton University where he earned a BA in English Literature. Whilst an undergraduate at Princeton, Duchovny’s poetry received an honorable mention from the American Academy of Poets. Duchovny also earned an MA in English Literature from Yale and began his doctorate studies at the same university but without ever completing his thesis. Over the year Duchovny has portrayed a variety of film and television roles but is perhaps best known for his role as Agent Fox Mulder in “The X-Files” franchise. Other productions which feature Duchovny include “The Joneses”, “Beethoven” and “Chaplin” among others.
