Matthew George Reeves is an American director, screenwriter and producer born on 27 April 1966 in Rockville Center, New York. His passion for filmmaking began at the early age of 8. His most notable works include Cloverfield (2008), and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014). He won a Fright Meter Award for Best Screenplay for Let Me In (2010).
Matt Reeves is an American filmmaker who was born in Rockville Centre, New York on the 27th of April, 1966. Reeves began filmmaking when only eight years old. At age 13 he befriended fellow filmmaker J.J. Abrams. Reeves directed “Cloverfield” in 2008. The title is a monster flick that is mostly presented through the view of a portable camera. “Cloverfield” was produced by J.J. Abrams. 2010 saw Reeves direct “Let Me In” which a remake of a Swedish film. Other productions that have seen input from Reeves are “The Yards” and “The Pallbearer” among others.
