He is an American actor, comedian and director who was born on November 30, 1965 in New York. His parents are comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He dropped out of UCLA to pursue his acting career. After appearing in a small role in Empire of the Sun (1987), he starred in The Ben Stiller Show in 1992. He's known for Zoolander (2001), Tropic Thunder (2008), and Night at the Museum trilogy.
