She is an American production designer and director, born on October 21, 1955 in Cameron, Texas. She began her career as a production designer in a number of films, including Vanilla Sky (2001) and Three Kings (1999). Her works as a director include Twilight (2008), Thirteen (2003), Lords of Dogtown (2005), and Miss Bala (2019).
