He is an English actor, producer, and director, born on October 11, 1969 in Brentwood, Essex. He obtained a degree in music and drama from London Academy. He worked in the theater for nearly 5 years, before deciding to focus on cinema and television. He is known for True Blood (2008-2014), Priest (2011), The Double (2011), and Quills (2000).
