American writer and producer born William Donald Payne in Wilmington, North Carolina, US on 5 May 1964. He was married to Julie Payne and had 3 children. His works include The Simpsons (1999-2015), My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006), Thor (2011), and Thor: The Dark World (2013). He died of bone cancer on 26 March 2013 in Los Angeles, California, US.
