An Australian filmmaker, born in Melbourne, Australia. He studied at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. He began his professional career by co-writing the Australian adventure film Joey in 1997, after which he continued his work as a director and screenwriter. Some of his credits include Collateral, Derailed, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
