An American producer, director, and a special effects artist, who was born on January 16, 1975 in Waukegan, Illinois. He moved to Los Angeles and began working on visual effects for the series The X-Files (1993). Greg and his brother Colin Strause joined the field of visual effects in 1995. Their successful collaboration continued as they became known as The Brothers Strause. The two brothers directed the films Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, and Skyline. Their visual effects work include the films Fantastic Four (2005), and The Day After Tomorrow (2004).
