Lebanese writer, director, and playwright. He began his career as a playwright and stage director in the 1950s, then began working in Lebanese radio and TV and directed thousands of episodes, and launched the concept of live broadcast in Lebanon. He directed several important Lebanese plays and was head of the Lebanese Theater Center. He married actress Ferial Karim and died in 2005.
