An American director, producer, and author, born on August 20th in Manhattan, New York. He got nominated for five Oscars. He began his career by writing and directing the short film Bingo Inferno: A Parody on American Obsessions. Among his most prominent movies are Three Kings, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy.
