An American actor, director, and producer, born on September 15, 1922 in Los Angeles, California. He first appeared in the movie Fox Movietone Follies of 1929 (1920). Among his movies are Superman, Superman II Surrender, and Superman III. He passed away on May 3, 2011, in Santa Monica, California.
