An American actor, born on July 6, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky. He got nominated for Emmy Awards, an Oscar and a Golden Globe. At the beginning of his life he sang in the local church choir, until he began his artistic career with the drama and horror movie Deliverance(1972), followed by many successful films, most notably Hear My Song, Rudy, and Where the Red Fern Grows. Ned has been married four times and has eight children. He passed away on June 13, 2021, Los Angeles, California.
