An American actor, screenwriter, director, producer, activist, and musician. He was born on October 16, 1958 in California. Among his most prominent films, in which he starred: The Shawshank Redemption Mystic River, The Hudsucker Proxy, and The Player. He directed the movie Dead Man Walking. He won an Oscar in 2004 for Mystic River.
