A Mexican actress, who is the daughter of Esther Martínez Peñate, a distinguished Cuban actress of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, and the aunt of singer M'Balia Marichal. She made her acting debut in 1966 in the film Joselito vagabundo, and then her works followed such as Corazón salvaje (1968), The Piranhas Mate by Lent (1969), Las puertas del paraíso (1971), Apolinar (1972), and La loca de los milagros (1975).
