A British actor of Indian descent, born in London. During his secondary education, he auditioned for drama school and was accepted into Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He's known for playing Sayid Jarrah in the TV series Lost. Among his works are The English Patient, Planet Terror, and Diana.
