Andrew Lloyd Webber is an English composer and impresario of musical theatre. He was born on March 22, 1948 in London. Andrew is the son of William Lloyd Webber, who was a professor at the Royal College of Music. He started his music career in 1965 with the track The Likes of Us. He excelled in the field of cinema by writing scripts, as well as composing music and melodies for many movies. In 1997, he won an Academy Award for Best Achievement in a Soundtrack and Song for the movie Tim Rice.
