A Chinese film director and action choreographer, born in Hong Kong. He trained in Northern-style Kung Fu for 7 years under the supervision of director and screenwriter Ching Gong, his father. He was a fighting instructor in The 14 Amazons (1972). His works include The Swordsman (1990), A Terra-Cotta Warrior (1989) and A Chinese Ghost Story (1987).
