A Syrian writer, born in Damascus. He received his secondary school certificate in 1953, a bachelor's degree from the Syrian University (Faculty of Arts - Department of Arabic Language) in 1958, a bachelor's degree from Damascus University (Faculty of Sharia) in 1966, a master's degree from Al-Azhar University in Cairo (Faculty of Sharia and Law) in 1975, and a doctorate in Islamic Studies from Imam Al-Awza'i College in Beirut in 1989. He also attained the rank of professor at Omdurman Islamic University in 2000. He worked as a religious teacher and preacher in several Damascus schools and mosques starting in 1967. He contributed to the establishment of the Syrian and Arab Publishers Union and served as the director of the Sharia Secondary School in Damascus in 1968. He has been the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Dar Al-Rashid Printing, Publishing and Distribution House in Damascus since 1975, and the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Iman Foundation for Printing, Publishing and Distribution in Beirut since 1977. He is also the founder, general manager, and editor-in-chief of a magazine. (Sada Al-Iman), which has been published in Lebanon since 1995, and the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Iman Foundation for Audio, Visual, and Written Production since 2000. He was married in 1964 and has three children.
