An American director, actor, and producer, born in Hartford, Connecticut, United States of America as Erik Ki La Salle. He studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in 1984. His works include ER (1994-2009), Coming to America (1988), One Hour Photo (2002), and Logan (2017). He wrote, directed, and produced two short films that won awards at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and the USA Film Festival.
