An American director, actor, and producer born in Hartford, Connecticut, in the United States of America on July 23, 1962 as Eric La Salle. He studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 1984. His most famous works include ER (1994-2009), Coming to America (1988), One Hour Photo (2002), and Logan (2017). He has written, directed, and produced two award-winning short films at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and at USA Film Festival.
