American actress born on 27 August 1955 in Savannah, Georgia. She studied at Pace University and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She appeared in small TV roles at the beginning of her career, including Kojak (1976). She's' known for Silkwood (1983), What Lies Beneath (2000), and Psycho III (1986). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best supporting Actress for Inside Moves (1980).
