An American dancer, choreographer, film director and stage director, born in Englewood, New Jersey, USA. She taught dance at the Juilliard School's pre-college division in New York City. She was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Choreographer five times. She started her career in 1971. Her works include Grease (1978), Grease 2 (1982), and The Stepford Wives (2004).
