American actor, director and writer, born July 21, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was trained by William Esper at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he earned a BA in acting. He began appearing in film, television and theater as an actor in works such as One Crazy Summer (1986) and Extreme Prejudice (1987). He left acting in 2015 and earned a master's degree in history from the City College of New York. He is married to actress Karen Sellon and they have two sons.
