An American writer, born in Baltimore, Maryland. His beginning was in the era of silent cinema. He collaborated with Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, and presented with them a number of works, such as Sherlock Jr. (1924) and Seven Chances (1925). He died on February 11, 1925.
