American director and producer born in 1962. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and English in 1994. Segal made his feature film directorial debut with Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994). His most notable works include 50 First Dates (2004), Get Smart (2008), and Second Act (2018).
