An Egyptian assistant director, born in Gharbia Governorate. He obtained a Bachelor of Science from the Higher School of Teachers in 1928, and a certificate from the Royal Drawing Society in 1932 in Britain. He worked as a teacher at the Institute of Education (currently the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University), then as dean of the faculty until his retirement in 1965. Some of his works include Cairo Station (1958), Romance in the Circus (1960) and Cat's Paw (1961). He died on January 1, 1989.
