A Puerto Rican actress and writer, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She studied marketing at the University of Puerto Rico, but did not finish her education. In 1990, she worked as a model, and in 1993, she won the title of Miss Puerto Rico. When she was 21 years old, she moved to New York to pursue dancing, acting, and singing. She made her film debut with the movie Captain Ron (1992). Her work includes Rush Hour 2 (2001).
