James Woods is an American film, stage and television actor, producer and director. He earned a Golden Globe nomination for his breakout role in "The Onion Field" (1979). He's known for his performances in "Once Upon a Time in America" (1984), "Salvador" (1986), "Nixon" (1995), "Ghosts of Mississippi" (1996), "The Virgin Suicides" (1999) and "Shark" a legal series that he appeared on between 2006 and 2008. Woods has left a strong impression on audiences throughout the past three decades. He's been nominated for two Oscars. In recent years, he's starred in "White House Down" (2013) and voiced his own character, James Woods, on "Family Guy." He produced and starred in "Northfolk" (2003), a drama about a rural Montana community forced to move their homes for the construction of a new dam.
