An American writer, born in New York City, USA. He married Dorothy Kiam, and they had a daughter. His works include So's Your Uncle (1943), Pursuit to Algiers (1945), Spy Hunt (1950), and The Silent Service (1957-1958). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on August 24, 1964, at the age of 60.
