An American author, born in Hornell, New York, USA. He showed interest in writing at an early stage. He worked in newspapers, wrote scripts for radio and television stations, and worked as a radio correspondent in France, Germany and Egypt. He's known for Mack & Myer for Hire (1963) and The Mothman Prophecies (2002). He died on July 3, 2009.
