An American film director, screenwriter and producer, who was born as Robert Leo Farrelly Jr. on June 17, 1958 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. He received a scholarship to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Bobby and his brother Peter, are known as the Farrelly Brothers, have written, produced, and directed comedies such as There's Something About Mary, Shallow Hal and Dumb and Dumber.
