He was an Iraqi actor and director born in 1933. Carlo studied cinema at the Budapest Film Academy in 1965. He appeared in several TV movies and series, like The Head (1976) and directed TV films, such as The Painting (1978) and Pendulum (1979). He occupies an important position in the Iraqi entertainment field for his great services in cinema and television, and he is credited with being the first to film television dramas outside the studio. His notable works include A Glimpse of Power (1988), The Time of Love (1990), and King Ghazi (1993).
