A Spanish actress, born in Madrid, Spain. She began her career in 1960 with the drama film 091 Policía al habla. She subsequently appeared in many works, ranging from theater, cinema, and television, such as The Skin I Live In, All About My Mother, and High Heels. In 1996, she received the National Film Award from the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
