A Chinese actor, born in 1963. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. He learned martial arts from an early age from his mother, a trained martial arts instructor. At the age of sixteen, he moved to Beijing to train in Wushu, where he met with the famous Hong Kong director Wu Ping Yuen, who chose him to star in his movie Drunken Tai Chi in 1984, from there, he starred in several Asian and American films.
