Canadian actor born on 27 September 1962 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He moved to Detroit with his family aged 15, where he attended high school. He obtained a BA in theater arts from Michigan State University in 1983 and a MFA in acting from Cornell University in 1985. Three years later, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career. His most notable works include Air America (1990), Saved! (2004), Dead Like Me (2003-2004), and The Big Year (2011).
