An Australian writer, director, and actor, born on June 19, 1934, in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. He married Georgina. Whaley was Head of Acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts from 1976 to 1981. He is known for Dad and Dave: On Our Selection (1995), The Harp in the South (1987), and Poor Man's Orange (1987). He died on August 6, 2019, in Australia.
