Canadian writer and producer born in 1950. He began as a bare-knuckle boxer in Peru. He has been married to Lara Daans since 19 October 1997. In the 1980s, he founded Rose & Ruby along with filmmaking partner and frequent collaborator David Mitchell. His works include A Fighting Man (2014) and Ice Girls (2016).
