An American writer, director, and producer who was born on August 31, 1974 in Bloomington, Indiana. He graduated from Madison West High School and went to Colorado College, English Department. He started his career directing music videos and short films since 1997. His first feature film was 500 Days of Summer (2009). He is known for The Amazing Spider-Man, Crazy Ex- Girlfriend, and Gifted.
