An American actor, born on August 20, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. He is of English, Polish, and Jewish origins. He began his career in 2005 in the short film Mumbo Jumbo. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. He gained fame for portraying Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel. He is known for The Social Network, Hacksaw Ridge, and Silence.
