Christina Rene Hendricks is an English-American actress who was born on the 3rd of May 1975. She has dual U.S. /U.K. nationality. She began acting in children's musical theater productions in Twin Falls. On October 11, 2009, Hendricks married actor Geoffrey Arend. At the age of 18, she started her career as a model. Afterwards she started her artistic career with her fist series "The Big Time" and" The Court" in addition to the legal drama" Kevin Hill". She was a guest-starred in some episodes like: "Angel"," Miss Match"," Tru Calling", "Presidio Med", "Without a Trace" and "Las Vegas". Moreover, she played the role of the sexy writer "Lily" in the award-winning indie film "La Cucina"(2009). She is known for her role as "Joan Holloway" in series "Mad Men" in which she was awarded Golden Nymph Award for Best Actress - Drama and was nominated Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series(2010-2011). She appeared in the action-thriller Drive (2011) as "Blanche" and as "April" in "Struck By Lightning" (2012)
