An American director, born in Wisconsin, USA, to German immigrant parents. Walter moved to Arizona, attended the University of Arizona, and began his career in business by working in theater management before moving into cinema. Some of his credits include Blue Light (1966) and The Old Man Who Cried Wolf (1970). He died on March 20, 2015, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
