She was a Turkish-French actress and singer, born on June 27, 1931, in Izmir, Turkey, and when she was seven, she moved to France. In 1951, she began her acting career in movies and TV series. She appeared in more than 96 international productions throughout her more than 50 year illustrious career. Her notable works include Rififi (1955), Le désir mène les hommes (1957), La Dolce Vita (1960), and Z (1969). She has also released several albums since 1956, and her most known song is "Fais-moi mal, Johnny". She died on 23 June 2015.
