A French jazz pianist, born on December 28, 1962, in Orange, Provence Cote d'Azur, France. He is the father of producer Alexandre Petrucciani. He is known for La rue ouverte (1988), Le grand échiquier (1985), and Michel Petrucciani (2011). He died on January 6, 1999, in New York City, USA.
