An American director, producer, and screenwriter, born on August 8, 1963 in New York. He made his directorial debut in the movie Think Big (1989). He is best known for Cool Runnings, While You Were Sleeping, Phenomenon, and National Treasure.


Jon Turteltaub is an American director and producer who were born on August 8, 1963 in New York City. He graduated from Wesleyan University and USC School of Cinema-Television. Turteltaub directed several successful films including (Cool Runnings) in 1993, (While you were Sleeping) in 1995, (Phenomenon) in 1996, (Instinct) in 1999, (The Kid) in 2000, (National Treasure) in 2004 and ( National Treasure: Book of Secrets) in 2007. He also directed the first two episodes of the Jericho series on CBS. In 2006, he married Amy Eldon, Dan Eldon’s sister
