A French author and novelist, born on January 12, 1628 in Paris. He was married to Marie Guichon from 1672 to 1703. Among his most famous works that were adapted for cinema: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent. He died on May 16, 1703 in Paris.
