An English film and television director, writer and producer. He was born in 1953 in England. He attended De Bonne School and dropped out at the age of 17 and worked as a delivery person before working in the field of copywriting. He directed several commercials and gained great popularity. He started in cinema by directing the short film Keep Off the Grass in (1983). His other films include: Roseanna's Grave, Sixty Six and Made of Honor. He was nominated for a BAFTA award twice.
