An American actress, writer, and producer who was born on January 29, 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA to a family of Irish origins. Her father was an FBI agent, her mother Joan was a teacher, and her sister Amy was also an actress. She participated in a number of films, but achieved success and fame after participating in the movie Boogie Nights (1997). Her most important works are Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), Boogie Nights (1997), and Bowfinger (1999), and the movie Lost in Space (1998).
