An Australian actress from the indigenous Bardi tribe, born in Derby, Australia. She was discovered by Australian director Phillip Noyce when he cast children from the indigenous people of Australia to appear in his film Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002). After graduating from Broome Senior High School in 2006, she was a child welfare worker. She then worked in many fashion show competitions before studying acting.
