A British writer, poet and traveler, ranked by Guinness World Records as the greatest surviving explorer. He began his adventures in 1960, and he broke many records, including reaching the summit of Mount Everest in May 2009, at the age of sixty-five, making him the oldest climber to summit Everest. Ranulph, who earned the title of Sir, indicated that he attempted to climb the summit twice before succeeding in achieving his goal the third time. He's known for Killer Elite (2011).
