He is a Syrian writer, born January 1, 1948 in Tartous. He studied at Damascus University and then obtained his doctorate from India in 1984 and worked in university education. He is a member of the Society of Story and Novel, and founder of the Arab Science Fiction Writers Association. He is one of the first Arab writers in the field of science fiction, as he wrote more than 70 novels such as "Planet of Dreams"(1978), "Exiting Hell"(1994), "Cavemen" (1998), and "Pioneers of the Red Planet"" (1998).
